These terms cover how you can use YUL, the app and its subscriptions. By installing or using YUL, you agree to them.

The service

YUL is a native iOS app that helps you care for your skin as a daily rhythm rather than a one-off purchase. It's built around four daily habits, your routine, hydration, movement, and breath, with the facial routine at the core and a private, on-device photo journal that tracks your progress across a 30-chapter streak. To support consistency, YUL also offers an optional app-shielding feature: you can choose to have selected distracting apps stay shielded until you complete your routine. It was developed in collaboration with Yulia Tepliakov, a professional esthetician, and is published by Ivan Terechin, an independent developer registered as an osek murshe (authorized dealer) in Israel (the "Developer", "we", "us", "our"). Our website (yulapp.com) and supporting infrastructure are operated by Toolshare.ai LLC, a Delaware limited liability company owned by the Developer. You can reach us at support@yulapp.com.

Subscriptions and purchases

YUL is free to download and try. Continued access to YUL's features requires an active subscription.

YUL offers weekly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Current prices, including any regional differences and applicable taxes, are shown in the app and on the App Store product page before you confirm any purchase.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.

Managing your subscription. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iOS. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period remains active until it expires.

Free trial. If YUL offers an introductory free trial at the time you subscribe, the terms and length of that trial are shown in the app before you confirm. Cancelling during the trial means you won't be charged. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at the price shown at checkout.

Refunds. All payments are handled by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple's Report a Problem page, we cannot process refunds on Apple's behalf.

Your content

Your routine photos and streak history are yours; our code and brand are ours. We don't claim ownership of anything you create through YUL, and we don't grant you ownership of the app, its design, or the YUL name. Because routine photos live on your device and in your private iCloud, they are not transmitted to or stored on our infrastructure at any point.

Age

YUL is not intended for children under 13. By using YUL, you represent that you are at least 13 years old (or at least 16 if you are in the EEA or United Kingdom).

App-shielding limitations

YUL's optional app-shielding feature, one of the ways YUL helps you stay consistent, uses Apple's Family Controls and ManagedSettings frameworks. These frameworks are designed by Apple to discourage casual distraction; they are not security features and can be bypassed by a sufficiently determined user (for example, by removing the YUL app, by toggling Screen Time settings, or through Apple-provided system mechanisms). YUL makes no warranty about the strength or undefeatability of the shield and is not liable for any consequences of a user bypassing it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep YUL available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Breaking changes will be communicated through app release notes.

App Store terms (Apple-required)

Because you downloaded YUL from Apple's App Store, these additional terms apply and supplement (not replace) the rest of this document:

• These terms are between you and Ivan Terechin only, not between you and Apple. Ivan Terechin, not Apple, is solely responsible for YUL.
• The license granted to you for YUL is a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in Apple's Media Services Terms.
• Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to YUL.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to YUL. Any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are the sole responsibility of Ivan Terechin.
• Ivan Terechin, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party have relating to YUL or your use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that YUL fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer-protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
• If a third party claims that YUL infringes their intellectual property rights, Ivan Terechin (not Apple) is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
• You represent that (a) you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (b) you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

YUL is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except to the extent such warranties cannot be disclaimed under applicable law. YUL is a habit-formation tool, not a medical or therapeutic device, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither the Developer nor Toolshare.ai LLC is liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, or service interruptions, arising from your use of YUL. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for YUL in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) the minimum amount required by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted.

Termination

You can stop using YUL at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States (where Toolshare.ai LLC is organized), without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of YUL will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country or state of residence.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and bump the "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
